About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and Plant Maintenance transformation programs from strategy through deployment
  • Advise client executives on maintenance, reliability, service execution, and asset management operating models
  • Manage engagement delivery, financial performance, resource planning, quality, and risk management across complex programs
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across SAP Asset Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Digital Operations
  • Drive solution design decisions balancing business requirements, leading practices, and technology capabilities
  • Build and maintain senior client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand EY services
  • Mentor and develop consultants and managers
  • Stay current on SAP Asset Management capabilities, S/4HANA innovation, and intelligent asset management solutions
  • Evaluate business processes, operating models, and technology landscapes to develop strategies and solutions delivering measurable business value
  • Collaborate with business and technical leaders to shape solution roadmaps and oversee integrated asset management delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Typically 12–15 years of relevant experience
  • 10+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM) and Asset Management experience
  • Significant experience leading SAP transformation programs and S/4HANA initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills
  • Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members
  • S/4HANA Asset Management implementation experience
  • Experience leading global or multi-site deployments
  • Executive stakeholder management experience
  • Business development and pursuit support experience
  • Experience conducting technology cost-benefit analyses
  • Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks
  • Skills in training design and delivery
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; estimated travel of 40%–60%
  • Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
  • Preferred: SAP Asset Performance Management, SAP Field Service Management, SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration, Resource Scheduling for Maintenance Planners, Spatial Asset Management, Work Clearance Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and related planning, scheduling, or master data governance solutions
  • Preferred: experience leading teams and managing change effectively
  • Preferred: experience serving Power & Utilities clients
  • Preferred: prior consulting industry experience
  • Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (Plant Maintenance/EAM) certification and additional SAP certifications
  • Preferred: experience writing and delivering training materials for end users
