About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the data management strategy for finance applications
  • Develop and implement the FDL consulting blueprint service offering
  • Create an industry-agnostic data model to promote consistency and interoperability across finance applications
  • Collaborate with the Data Lead and FDL Product Owner on finance application data architecture
  • Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships
  • Lead the design and delivery of system architecture solutions with technical teams
  • Tailor technology platforms to business processes and support continuous improvement
  • Manage complex processes, solutions, and projects with focus on quality and risk management
  • Define data requirements, data architecture, and data models for finance applications
  • Lead design and implementation of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps
  • Lead development and implementation of the scalable, performant, and secure FDL Blueprint solution
  • Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMRs to identify Machine Learning and Gen AI opportunities
  • Support establishment and maintenance of a robust FDL data governance framework
  • Monitor advancements in Machine Learning, Gen AI, data management, and Azure technologies
  • Manage and motivate diverse client engagement teams and mentor junior consultants
  • Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Travel as required for client engagements and project needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Computer Science
  • Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Experience with variance analysis and management reporting
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Proficiency with EPM platforms, including Anaplan, Oracle EPM Cloud Suite, Oracle Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik, or similar
  • Understanding of financial data architecture and governance
  • Knowledge of financial data modeling and dimensional design
  • Knowledge of chart of accounts structuring and hierarchy management
  • Knowledge of data quality standards and reconciliation processes
  • Knowledge of master data management for finance applications
  • Knowledge of finance applications including PnL, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow modeling
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support emerging technology adoption
  • Strong business skills including relationship management and commercial awareness
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs
