About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Devise business and technology strategies based on trends, insights and data
- Reset, reimagine and rethink client business and operating models with technology-enabled solutions
- Set and drive enterprise technology vision and strategy aligned with corporate and business-unit strategy
- Optimize value from technology spend, focusing on cost, agility, productivity and performance
- Advise CIOs and CTOs on technology strategy, operating models, transformation and IT capabilities
- Develop technology strategies, roadmaps, blueprints and enterprise business capability models
- Analyze value chains, business capabilities, processes, systems, data, infrastructure and applications
- Assess IT operating models, organization structures, processes and governance
- Guide clients through large enterprise-wide transformations and business architecture initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor on innovation and emerging technology trends
- Lead client workshops, status meetings and executive-level presentations
- Build client relationships and work across EY advisory teams to deliver end-to-end services
- Build and grow the TST Strategy practice and sell and deliver engagements as engagement leader or subject matter specialist
- Develop thought leadership and structured solutions for complex technology strategy problems
- Manage engagement teams, daily progress, engagement status and staff performance
- Recruit, develop, retain, coach and mentor strategy professionals
- Develop solution offerings, tools and knowledge repositories
- Create expert content for points of view and C-level discussions
Requirements
What you’ll need- BE/B.Tech and MBA from top Tier-1 B-schools
- 15+ years of relevant experience in large-scale, enterprise-wide transformations
- 15+ years of specific industry/sector experience through completed client engagements related to business transformation
- Experience in strategy consulting at top-tier consulting firms
- Experience in one or two sectors such as financial services, retail, healthcare/pharma, telecom or e-commerce
- Experience driving business and deep-dive technology workshops to develop transformation vision, strategy, roadmaps and blueprints
- Experience assessing IT operating model maturity and organizational structures
- Understanding of IT-business alignment, IT strategy and planning, current and future-state IT architecture, roadmaps and IT/digital maturity assessment
- Experience with large transformations involving customer experience, process re-engineering, digital, cloud, automation, AI/ML, advanced analytics and emerging technologies
- Experience researching and analyzing operational effectiveness, processes and stakeholders
- Experience designing and managing effective IT governance frameworks
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful insights
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and Governance, Agile methodologies, data visualization, cloud technologies and emerging technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, public speaking and content creation skills
- Ability to lead client conversations with CIOs, CEOs, CFOs and other senior leaders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience with pursuit teams, proposition conceptualization and presenting solutions to clients
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, visualization tools and MS Project
- Ability to scope and size projects, staff teams, direct delivery and manage engagements
- Ability to identify opportunities and generate sell-on work
- Experience creating points of view on industry trends, solutions, methodologies and analytical frameworks
- Experience managing executive-level client portfolios and developing trusted advisor relationships
- Experience building strong teams with project management, industry content and client communication knowledge
