About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a team leader/technical leader across technical streams of cloud implementation projects
Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators
Plan and monitor project deliverables
Mentor the project team in executing identified projects
Provide regular status reports to the Manager and onsite coordinators
Interface with customer representatives as needed
Build a quality culture and foster teamwork
Manage performance management for direct reports according to organizational policies
Train and mentor project resources
Participate in organization-wide people initiatives
Manage the SAP BW development lifecycle from design through implementation and production support
Design, develop and support custom BW objects using BW LSA
Create transformations, routines, formulas and DTPs
Develop, maintain, monitor and manage data loads and functions
Document test plans and complete unit testing of developed objects
Support system and integration testing with Testing/Business resources
Create and support BEx queries based on reporting requirements
Tune BW system performance using best practices
Support Business Objects reports in production and develop new reports
Perform root cause analysis and resolve production and development issues
Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources and oversee team execution
Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks and evaluate performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-7 years of experience
Proficient in SAP BI/BW back-end development and configuration
Proficient in SAP BW on HANA system architecture design and performance optimization
Proficient in designing, developing and supporting custom BW objects using BW LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture)
Experience with transformations, routines, formulas and DTPs
Experience developing, maintaining, monitoring and managing data loads and functions
Experience creating and supporting BEx queries in SAP BW Data Warehouse
Experience supporting Business Objects reports in production and developing new reports
Experience with testing, pre-production support and production support
Willingness to travel to customer locations on an as-needed basis
Ability to lead technical streams and mentor project resources
