About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solve client problems and provide end-to-end SAP EWM solutions
- Develop ABAP objects in SAP modules such as EWM
- Apply OSS notes and SAP ASAP methodology
- Document programs and perform systems analysis, design, and testing
- Design, develop, and code difficult and complex SAP EWM programs
- Develop test data, analyze problems, determine solutions, and make logical recommendations
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and orally
- Work independently on assigned projects and train users
- Establish cooperative working relationships with administrators, technical and functional team members, and users
- Work with EWM process flows
- Develop EWM ABAP solutions including RF screens, PPF, enhancements, CIF, EEWB, and monitor enhancements
- Work with warehouse monitor and alerts
- Conduct solution architecting and requirements-gathering workshops with business managers and teams
- Create detailed solution documentation and presentations
- Map business requirements into SAP and implement standard SAP solutions
- Work effectively with customer business and project teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree and at least 5-6 years of total work experience in SAP
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Technical ABAP Consultant in SAP EWM Projects
- Good knowledge of ABAP OOPs
- Worked in at least 1 SAP EWM Implementation Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in implementation of complex programs in SAP EWM
- Proven record of interacting with multiple business units or functional teams
- Ability to work across business units and in a team-oriented environment
- Experience working with ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Leading and mentoring abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience leading, persuading, and influencing senior internal and external personnel
- Practical knowledge of CIF, EGF, DRF, MFS, EWM Label Zebra Printers, or other advanced EWM technical concepts is advantageous
- Experience with advanced and latest SAP interface technologies is advantageous
- Working or basic knowledge of ABAP on HANA—AMDP, CDS, ODATA is advantageous
