About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in designing SAP FICO solutions for customers and clients
- Prepare functional specifications for customizations and Z developments
- Assess the SAP control environment and configuration against standard SAP configuration
- Communicate with business and technical staff
- Identify opportunities to automate controls using SAP
- Deliver SAP FICO projects with a basic understanding of other SAP modules
- Identify gaps and estimate the effort required to resolve them using SAP
- Guide teams and manage projects while balancing scope, cost, and time
- Build strong internal relationships within EY and across other services
- Work on SAP implementation projects for customers across the globe
Requirements
What you’ll need- Approximately 4–8 years of recent relevant work experience
- Experience driving technical solutions for SAP FICO projects in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA
- Basic understanding of SAP SD and SAP MM modules
- Knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL Accounting, and Asset Accounting
- Strong knowledge of CO modules, including cost allocations, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product cost controlling, profitability analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, unsettled costs, month-end close, overhead assessment, and settlement
- Very good understanding of FI-MM, FI-CO, and FI-SD integrations
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to guide teams, communicate effectively with clients, and manage projects balancing scope, cost, and time
- SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA certification in a recent release is desirable
- Hands-on experience in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA engagements is desirable
- Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity
- Comfort interacting with senior executives
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
