About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and deliver ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, SPM, IRM, Security Operations, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service Management
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using JavaScript and Glide
- Own platform architecture decisions for scalability, performance, security, and ServiceNow best-practice alignment
- Design and implement ServiceNow integrations with third-party enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support complex issues as a ServiceNow subject matter expert
- Mentor team members and promote platform and development standards
- Shape platform architecture and lead complex implementations across EY teams and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in large or complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and core development components, including business rules, client scripts, workflows, and UI policies
- Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Required ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Required ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions aligned to industry-specific or regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting advanced platform capabilities, such as automation, orchestration, or AI-enabled solutions
- Exposure to mentoring junior developers or setting development standards across teams
- Strongly preferred ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules
- Nice to have additional ServiceNow mainline or advanced certifications
