About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and customize ServiceNow systems, including creating workflows
- Build service request fulfillment workflows from customer requirements using requests, request items, tasks, workflows, UI actions, client scripts, and business rules
- Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate repetitive tasks
- Perform integrations and process automation using Orchestration, Web Services, and SOAP calls
- Gather specifications from business departments and deliver products or releases that meet requirements
- Interpret business and functional requirements and develop technical specification documentation
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
- Work with business liaisons to generate dashboards, home pages, Performance Analytics data collectors, and reports
- Analyze user stories and internal procedures to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations
- Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
- Work as part of the EY GDS-ServiceNow team to solve client problems and build innovative products
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree in a related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
- Approximately 7 to 10 years of experience in a development role
- Demonstrated progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities
- ServiceNow CSA certification plus any CIS certification is mandatory
- Experience with ServiceNow implementation
- Knowledge of authentication protocols such as Active Directory, LDAP, SiteMinder federation, or Azure
- Experience with Disciplined Agile Delivery software release build/deploy processes
- Experience integrating internal and external applications and systems
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, Angular JS, and good web design practices
- Service Portal implementation experience
- Implementation experience with one or more ServiceNow applications, including FSO & Custom Scope, HRSD, GRC, SecOps, IRM, CSM, PPM, APM, ITSM, ITOM, Service Portal, Agentic AI, Gen AI, SPM, or UI Builder
- Implementation experience on Performance Analytics
- Knowledge of digital technologies such as machine learning, AI, IoT, and blockchain
- ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
- Experience with SDLC, TFS, JIRA, or equivalent tools is desirable
- Knowledge of features in the latest ServiceNow version is desirable
