About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clients with Pega technical analysis of requirements, solution architecture, and design
- Advise engagement team members and deliver Pega-based solutions using core Pega and other technology suites
- Design, architect, and develop advanced Pega configuration solutions aligned with best practices
- Understand current and future client needs and develop roadmaps considering complexity, feasibility, and business value
- Work with developers to estimate effort, plan onshore/offshore staffing mix, and manage complex engagement financials
- Support Managers and Senior Managers in sales proposals
- Develop assets and accelerators
- Mentor junior staff on project cadence and technology ramp-up
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds
- Monitor progress to consistently deliver quality client services
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
- Maintain long-term client relationships and networks
- Cultivate business development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Pega, including hands-on configuration and customizations with teams of 3 or more people
- At least 3 years of Pega 8.x and/or Pega Infinity experience
- Certified Pega Senior System Architect certification required
- 4 years of experience using relational databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, Access, Oracle, and/or DB2
- 4 years of experience with low-code/no-code development platforms, Object-Oriented programming concepts, and/or agile software implementation process
- 4 years of computer software configuration or development experience using Java, Python, C++, C#, and/or .NET
- 2 years of experience leading teams of developers for PEGA projects and providing guidance to team members
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% to serve client needs
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect certification preferred
