About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the data management strategy for finance applications
- Develop and implement EY’s AI Finance service offering and an industry-agnostic data model
- Work with the Data Lead and Product Owner to establish accurate, consistent, and reliable finance application data architecture
- Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations
- Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Provide analysis related to implementation, customization, and optimization of technology platforms
- Work with finance, IT, and data science teams to manage and utilize finance application data
- Engage clients, analyze requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions
- Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders
- Tailor technology platforms to business processes and objectives
- Foster client relationships and deliver quality client services within expected time frames and budgets
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
- Manage and motivate diverse client engagement teams
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members and mentor junior consultants
- Define data requirements, data architecture, and data models for finance applications
- Lead the design and implementation of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps
- Lead development and implementation of the FDL Blueprint solution offering
- Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMEs to apply Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques
- Support establishment and maintenance of a robust data governance framework
- Stay current with Machine Learning, Gen AI, Data Management, and Azure technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and approximately three years of related work experience; or a graduate degree in the same and approximately two years of related work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, financial modeling
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management
- Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, and Python
- Knowledge of finance applications including financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Proficiency in data integration, data transformation, and data modeling tools and techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field with relevant finance data management experience, data modeling, and ML is advantageous
