About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day Level 2 or 3 application management support for SAP applications, including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management, and problem management
- Lead and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis and corrective action
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and advise on SAP Concur solutions and designs
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support to ensure availability and reliability of critical SAP systems
- Work shift hours according to client requirements across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation, user guides, and test scripts
- Mentor and train junior SAP functional and technical team members
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and SAP best practices to drive automation and innovation
- Make decisions, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee team management as needed
- Allocate personnel, supervise team members, assign tasks, provide tools and support, and evaluate performance
- Provide functional support for SAP Concur Expense and Travel modules across regions for global clients
- Address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize designs to meet business requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
- 5–7 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in SAP Concur implementation/support
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements for travel policies, expense workflows, and approval hierarchies
- Experience configuring Concur Expense, Travel, and Request modules, including audit rules, custom forms, and workflows
- Strong understanding of travel and expense management processes, including per diems, mileage, receipts, and reimbursement cycles
- Hands-on experience with Concur configuration, workflow setup, and integration tools
- Experience analyzing user incidents and providing solutions
- Experience handling change requests and understanding new business requirements
- Experience with defect resolution and defect analysis related to Concur
- Cross-functional communication skills and experience in offshore/onsite model
- Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time-critical environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional team environment
- Flexibility to work shifts and be on call for critical business requirements
- Experience with integration points of SAP Concur with SAP ERP, SuccessFactors, third-party payroll, and credit card feeds (ideally)
- Experience with Concur reporting tools such as Cognos (ideally)
- SAP Certification in SAP Concur (ideally)
