About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs
- Develop business and operating model strategies using technology-enabled solutions
- Set and drive enterprise technology vision and strategy aligned with corporate and business-unit strategies
- Optimize technology spend, cost, agility, productivity, and performance
- Deliver technology strategy and vision, IT operating model optimization, transformation roadmaps and blueprints, Office of CIO services, product strategy, M&A technology due diligence, and enterprise architecture services
- Translate business strategy and vision into enterprise-wide technology strategy
- Analyze value chains, business capabilities, KPIs, processes, and underlying systems
- Assess business capability models and processes to identify technology-enabled optimization opportunities
- Analyze IT operating models, organizational structures, processes, and governance; develop recommendations and actionable roadmaps
- Develop enterprise business capability models and analyze portfolios of systems and platforms
- Govern transformation strategy and business architecture to ensure initiatives align with strategic priorities
- Guide clients through large enterprise-wide transformations and work with CIO, CTO, CFO, COO, and other business leaders
- Advise clients on innovation and the implications of business and technology trends
- Lead client conversations, workshops, status meetings, and executive-level presentations
- Build trusted client relationships and grow the TST Strategy practice
- Develop thought leadership, methodologies, solution offerings, tools, and knowledge repositories
- Lead engagement teams and manage daily progress, engagement status, staff performance, and delivery quality
- Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor strategy professionals and deliver architecture-related training
- Create points of view and expert content for C-level discussions
- Identify opportunities and generate sell-on work during client engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong academic background with BE/B.Tech and MBA from top Tier-1 B-schools
- 10+ years of relevant experience in large-scale, enterprise-wide transformations
- 10+ years of specific industry/sector experience through completed client engagements related to business transformation
- Experience in one or two sectors such as Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare/Pharma, Telecom, or e-commerce
- Background in Strategy Consulting in top-tier consulting firms
- Experience driving business and deep-dive technology workshops
- Experience assessing IT operating models and organizational structures
- Understanding of IT-business alignment, IT strategy and planning, current and future-state IT architecture, roadmaps, and IT/Digital maturity assessment
- Experience with customer experience, process re-engineering, digital, cloud, automation, AI/ML/advanced analytics, IoT, blockchain, virtual twins, or other emerging technologies
- Experience designing and managing IT governance frameworks
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful insights
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and Governance, Agile methodologies, data visualization, cloud technologies, and emerging technologies
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, visualization tools, and MS-Project
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience in pursuit teams, proposition conceptualization, and presenting client solutions
- Advanced presentation, public speaking, content creation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of a specific industry, client, technology, or function
- Preferred but not required: advanced business/technology degrees, C-Suite presentation experience, industry conference speaking, article/white paper authorship, innovation experience, technology-domain exposure, sales capability, client network, and relevant industry certifications
