About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Ezurio's internal AI portfolio and adoption across every function
  • Find high-value AI opportunities, prioritize investment, and deliver measurable results
  • Map workflows end to end and determine whether AI, conventional automation, or process change is appropriate
  • Build working prototypes with agent, automation, and API tools to prove value
  • Define evaluations, human-approval points, and success criteria
  • Hand proven solutions to implementation partners for production hardening
  • Own the internal AI use-case portfolio, including intake, prioritization, funding, and retirement
  • Provide quarterly reporting on expected benefits and actual results
  • Maintain a roadmap for build, buy, or wait decisions
  • Manage the AI investment budget from annual planning through approval and tracking
  • Prepare structured and unstructured company information for reliable AI use
  • Partner with business and technology leaders on data quality, governance, accessibility, and scalability
  • Select and manage technology providers and implementation partners
  • Drive adoption through training, functional champions, usage reporting, and license optimization
  • Run scheduled effectiveness reviews for every AI tool and agent; rework or decommission unused tools
  • Partner with IT and Legal to define acceptable-use, data-handling, and security guardrails
  • Maintain AI governance practices supporting Ezurio's ethical standards and compliance with the EU AI Act, GDPR, and CCPA
  • Report adoption, cost, risk, and business impact to senior leadership
  • Report to the VP of IT and work with an executive steering group as an individual contributor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on technical fluency: builds or configures working prototypes with current agent, automation, and API tools
  • Reads architecture and code well enough to challenge vendors and internal teams
  • Business and financial acumen; connects AI investment decisions to strategic goals with measurable outcomes
  • Strong understanding of AI solution patterns, decision intelligence, and AI-enabled workflow redesign, business models, and operations optimization
  • Proven ability to drive results across an organization without direct authority
  • Ability to explain complex AI topics clearly to non-technical audiences and senior leadership
  • Familiarity with the EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA, and relevant data protection standards
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor's or master's in business, a STEM field, computer science, data science, or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of business or technology leadership, including leading cross-functional technology or transformation programs
  • Experience leading cross-functional business transformation or technology programs across a complex organization
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Strategy or management consulting experience is a plus
