About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into customized Salesforce solutions
  • Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
  • Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce
  • Assist with work-effort estimation and development scheduling under project leadership
  • Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy new or updated applications and code
  • Develop Salesforce integrations with internal proprietary and third-party services
  • Test application stability and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs
  • Maintain application software security and integrity
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to develop solutions supporting business requirements and key business decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred
  • Platform Developer II Certification (preferred)
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
  • Experience writing Apex classes and triggers
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control software
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
  • 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and objects
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud
