About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure in a low voltage environment
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues
- Identify, track, and remove abandoned cables
- Test every newly installed or relocated cable according to established procedures
- Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards
- Record time and materials used
- Assist team members with installation and maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass drug and background screen
- BICIS preferred
- Manufacturer training preferred
- OSHA preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the work site
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, at heights, and in small confined spaces
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment
- Knowledge of National Building Codes and standards
