About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with annual and group financial statement audits in accordance with national and international accounting standards
  • Analyze, document, and evaluate business processes across a wide range of industries
  • Work closely with the responsible auditor as equals, including on-site at client premises
  • Prepare analyses and responses to valuation and accounting matters
  • Prepare audit reports
  • If interested, support tax advisory services and annual financial statement preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in business administration, economics, or law, either completed or nearing completion
  • Completed commercial education (HAK qualification)
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and BMD NTCS
  • Ideally, experience with Datasnipper, audit tools, and ChatGPT
  • Structured and self-directed approach to work
  • High level of commitment
  • Strong eye for detail and the ability to focus on what matters most
  • Analytical skills
  • Willingness to plan and pursue the training required to become a certified public accountant
