About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate on defining and implementing the integrations roadmap aligned with Remitee's business strategy.
- Refine the roadmap based on market trends, customer and partner feedback, and internal priorities.
- Oversee all stages of integrations from requirements definition through go-live.
- Ensure integrations are scalable across multiple geographies and partners.
- Lead product definitions for each integration with Compliance and other teams.
- Balance risk, business objectives, and customer experience in product decisions.
- Connect internal teams and external partners to align product goals with business objectives.
- Work with development teams to define goals, manage the product backlog, and ensure delivery timelines.
- Prioritize work based on business value, scalability, and user feedback.
- Drive processes and documentation that enable integrations to scale efficiently.
- Use agile methodologies to manage the backlog, prioritize tasks, and drive cross-functional collaboration for successful launches.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years as a Product Owner, ideally within Fintech, Payments, or related industries.
- Nice to have: proven experience in third-party integrations and end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience working with agile frameworks and cross-functional teams.
- Technical profile with a backend focus and experience in API integrations.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, manage backlogs, and communicate technical and business requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with payment systems, financial technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strategic mindset to align product decisions with business goals.
- Comfortable making decisions and owning the associated risks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced English and Spanish proficiency required.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
