About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage individual work streams supporting delivery and implementation of bespoke AI solutions
Work with stakeholders to understand mission challenges and user needs
Conduct open-source analysis for cutting-edge AI tools
Translate operational requirements into user stories for delivery and engineering teams
Design and test workflows supporting user-centric decision-making in high-stakes environments
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet customer needs
Contribute to internal thought leadership, strategy, and capability development
Build trusted client relationships, analyse requirements and feedback, monitor workflows, and optimise bespoke AI tools for real-world operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Analytical thinking and ability to clearly communicate and synthesise complex information
Passion for Applied AI safety, potentially from labs, academia, evaluation, or red teaming
External client-facing experience and experience building trusted relationships
Experience working with technical teams
Understanding of Agile and related methodologies, iterative development, and continuous delivery
Proactive approach to ambiguous situations, with examples of taking initiative and solving challenges
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for innovation in AI Safety technology
Ability to work in the UK; visa sponsorship requirement is assessed in the application form
