Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record of high-impact AI research through top-tier academic publications or equivalent experience
  • Deep domain knowledge in language models and AI safety
  • Extensive experience in AI safety, including generating and executing novel research directions
  • Ability to conduct and oversee complex technical research projects
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and the standard data science stack
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the AI safety research landscape
  • Ability to build connections to secure resources for impactful work
  • Ability to work in the UK; visa sponsorship requirements are assessed in the application
  • Candidates may not apply more than 3 times in any 90-day period
