About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support services and enrichment activities to Alaska Native and American Indian students
  • Support Head Start and Early Head Start families
  • Collect, review, and enter data daily using MS Suite, Child Plus and TSG, ProCare, ADP, ASQ, ProSolutions, CNPWeb, and GMS
  • Prepare data for weekly, monthly, periodic, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, virtual and in-person meetings, and other required meetings
  • Facilitate or share data stories and help create learning plans related to data
  • Serve as backup for accounts receivable/payables for the program as requested
  • Maintain professional work relationships and interactions with all levels of staff
  • Scan, file, prepare, and communicate application status
  • Perform other duties as assigned to benefit the entire program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate Degree or proof of attending college or technical school to obtain a degree
  • One (1) year clerical experience involving data entry and/or performing diverse administrative duties
  • Advanced knowledge and use of personal computer (desk/laptop)
  • Ability to use a variety of computer software to track data and reporting opportunities
  • Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices
  • Understanding and sensitivity to diverse cultures and lifestyles, as well as cross-cultural or mix of generation communication styles
  • Skill in managing multiple priorities and tasks concurrently and meeting deadlines
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and respectful working relationships
  • Ability to report to work in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • A combination of experience, education, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may substitute for degree requirements
