About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and perform maintenance repairs across the property
Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs
Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
Manage service requests using Yardi or similar software
Maintain budgets and inventory for maintenance supplies
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Lead and develop a diverse maintenance team
Provide feedback and coaching for performance improvement
Deliver exceptional customer service to residents

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification required
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification strongly preferred; associates hired without it must obtain it within 90 days of hire
Three or more years’ hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience required
Supervisory experience required
Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
Valid driver's license required
