About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own assigned zero-utilised, dormant, suspended, underutilised and growth-potential merchants as the primary relationship manager.
  • Diagnose inactivity by reviewing each merchant’s business condition, financing needs, facility usage, repayment history, restrictions and previous engagement.

  • Conduct targeted field visits to verify businesses, rebuild relationships and resolve issues requiring physical intervention.
  • Coordinate with Retention, Operations, Credit and Risk to resolve KYC, documentation, repayment-instrument and account-restriction blockers.
  • Manage early-stage repayments, escalate delinquency under approved DPD rules and suspend utilisation activity where credit concerns exist.
  • Maintain accurate portfolio records, protect merchant information and prevent token drawdowns, artificial inactivity resets and control breaches.
