Translate IT strategy into practical, value-driven solutions addressing key business needs, enhancing capability, and delivering technology roadmaps
Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and share knowledge across the team
Partner with business stakeholders across trading and non-trading areas
Lead technology projects, initiatives, and enhancements that improve business performance, support growth, and create competitive advantage
Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the portfolio
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and company requirements
Establish processes, controls, and governance practices that reduce operational and technology risk
Address audit, risk, and security findings and ensure remediation plans are in place
Lead, coach, and develop the support team
Prioritize work and align resources with business and departmental objectives
Support succession planning, talent development, and recruitment activities
Conduct regular one-on-one engagements, provide performance feedback, and recognize achievements
Foster a culture that promotes employee engagement and growth
Build and maintain relationships with portfolio vendors and partners
Ensure suppliers meet agreed service levels, contractual obligations, and operational requirements
Ensure availability, performance, and stability of portfolio products, applications, and services
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-10 years in project team management or development team management
Building/developing products to deliver business value
Supply Chain & Logistics business understanding in Retail is an advantage
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Organization and time-management skills
Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
Proactive problem solver with the ability to think ‘out of the box’
Attention to detail
