About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in the behavioral health center and assigned school-based setting
  • Conduct complete biopsychosocial intake assessments
  • Complete related intake documentation within 14 days of service
  • Complete progress therapy notes within 24 hours of service
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth and families
  • Maintain required billable hours responsively to client needs
  • Maintain client case records and document contacts with clients, referral sources, schools, parents, and other professionals
  • Develop and revise treatment plans
  • Collaborate with involved service providers with client consent
  • Attend staff meetings and discuss issues affecting clients, staff, the agency, and community
  • Prepare case presentations for clinical supervision
  • Participate in school meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as necessary
  • Participate positively in the assigned school and Behavioral Health Center environments
  • Comply with continuous quality improvement standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure client information under HIPAA standards
  • Adhere to relevant professional ethics and standards
  • Attend continuing education and professional training
  • Comply with mandated reporting laws

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of like social service experience in the respective discipline
  • Professional clinical licensure required, such as LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
  • Ability to assess and coordinate treatment needs for complex family systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience providing services in the home or community preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds
  • Adherence to the Professional Standards Agreement
  • Must be able to pass extensive background checks
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local laws concerning child abuse, domestic violence, duty to warn, and other mandated reporting statutes
  • Must obtain and maintain licensure
