About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with team members to design, produce, test, and implement moderately complex software, technology, and processes
  • Create and maintain IT architecture, large-scale data stores, and cloud-based systems
  • Assess customer and business requirements, clarify technical needs, and translate them into scalable solution designs and implementation approaches
  • Support application deployments and operational readiness, including logging, monitoring, configuration management, and production support
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Node.js, Python, .NET, ReactJS, and ExpressJS
  • Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions using AWS services including Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Textract, and load balancing
  • Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and production-readiness activities across the team
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, security teams, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions and resolve technical dependencies
  • Apply secure development practices involving IAM, SSO, secrets management, access controls, and least-privilege principles
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform with automated testing, deployment controls, and security scanning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production applications
  • Hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language or runtime such as Node.js, Python, or .NET
  • Experience working with cloud-based applications and services, preferably AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, load balancing, or similar technologies
  • Working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, testing, debugging, application security, and SDLC practices
  • Curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Familiarity with identity, access management, and secure application development concepts, including IAM, SSO, least-privilege access, and vulnerability scanning
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab, Terraform, automated deployment pipelines, and source-code management
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies and services such as APIGEE or similar API management and integration platforms
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with modern web application frameworks such as ReactJS and/or ExpressJS
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform, incorporating automated testing, deployment controls, and SAST/SCA/DAST security scanning
  • AWS certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, or Developer certification is preferred
  • Bachelor's Level Degree required
