About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Connect with agency-provided leads, referrals, and prospective clients through phone, email, text, networking, and outbound outreach
- Understand clients' needs, priorities, and current coverage
- Prepare quotes and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty insurance solutions
- Follow up with prospects and manage an active sales pipeline
- Ask for the sale and address questions or objections
- Build relationships that lead to long-term clients, referrals, and additional opportunities
- Cross-sell coverage to identify potential protection gaps
- Work toward individual production goals and agency performance targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, quotes, and follow-up activity
- Participate in ongoing sales coaching, product education, and professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous sales, insurance, or other performance-driven experience
- Comfortable making outbound calls and starting conversations with new people
- Ability to work toward measurable goals
- Confident communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent
- Organized and consistent follow-up
- Receptive to coaching and committed to improvement
- Desire for continued earning and advancement potential
- Hold a Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license, or be willing to obtain the required licensing
- Ability to commute to the Culver City office location regularly
