About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up
- Build rapport and uncover each customer’s needs and priorities
- Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
- Manage an active pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects
- Work through questions and objections and confidently ask for the sale
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with new and existing customers
- Work toward individual production goals and agency growth targets
- Track sales activity and customer conversations
- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience working toward measurable sales or performance goals
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with frequent outbound calls and prospect follow-up
- Motivated by performance, earning potential, and results
- Persistent and able to move forward after hearing “no”
- Organized with strong follow-through
- Coachable and receptive to feedback
- Property & Casualty licensing preferred, or willingness to obtain the required license
- Ability to commute to the office location regularly
- Active California Property & Casualty Insurance license and active California Life Insurance License are addressed in the required application questions
