About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage Ag Brokerage Solutions program staff
Develop efficient and cost-effective processes and procedures compliant with regulations and company guidelines
Collaborate with department and division heads to develop, communicate, and execute budgets, goals, and strategies
Identify, assess, communicate, monitor, and manage potential risks under the Enterprise Risk Management program
Manage ABS program employees according to organizational policies, procedures, mission, vision, and culture
Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment
Lead and evaluate employees through performance management and development processes, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and career development planning
Lead program teams to successful strategic results
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, providing career development opportunities
Manage development, implementation, and updating of program products, policies, and procedures
Manage reinsurance placement and carrier relationships
Maintain proficiency with applicable ABS systems, products, underwriting rules, and guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least eight years of P&C insurance experience
Previous experience in a supervisory role required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
Insurance industry designations necessary: INS 21, 22 and 23 courses; PBP designation, AFIS and/or CIC designation
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel
Must not require sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future
