Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development of front-end solutions for Faros's engineering intelligence SaaS platform
Work with designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience
Optimize the front-end for performance and accessibility
Integrate with open-source solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer
Strong experience with modern web development frameworks (Next.js & React preferred)
Strong understanding of CSS
Strong understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript (Typescript preferred)
Experience with architecting and designing scalable and performant front-end solutions
Experience with testing and debugging tools (Jest, Cypress preferred)
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on product development
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS (preferred)
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (preferred)
Experience with enterprise authentication/authorization workflows (preferred)
Experience with microservices architecture (preferred)
Experience interacting with customers (preferred)
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to live in or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
