About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own day-to-day coordination for Discovery Days: vendors, rooming lists, flights, attendee logistics, and communications
  • Execute across Farther Fest, offsites, and other corporate events
  • Build hotel and vendor relationships; negotiate room blocks and rates, and follow up on every detail
  • Research vendors and bring the top picks to the Events Manager with a recommendation
  • Create simple, repeatable processes (room requests, travel budgets) so teammates get answers fast
  • Partner with the Events Manager to ensure events run smoothly
  • Identify clunky processes and build solutions to improve them

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in events, hospitality, or operations coordination
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across many moving pieces
  • A proactive, builder mindset: you take ownership and fix things without being asked
  • Clear communicator who's comfortable with vendors, executives, and everyone in between
  • Experience with hotel sales, room blocks, or corporate travel tools like Navan
  • Comfort building lightweight systems or automations
  • Background in wealth management, fintech, or professional services
