  • Participate in and lead department and project meetings, product reviews, and electrical design reviews
  • Attend seminars and training sessions to stay current with technologies, component developments, and industry standards
  • Travel periodically for engineering trips, trade shows, and startup support on special projects
  • Develop control programs for industrial and mobile products manufactured by FAST
  • Assist electrical engineering team members and help grow their knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related hands-on experience developing electrical control systems for an industrial machine builder
  • Ability to evaluate electrical controls components
  • Knowledge of UL508A and NFPA79 industry standards
  • Ability to develop control programs for industrial and mobile products
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Ability to complete engineering change notices and follow engineering procedures
  • Ability to provide higher-level technical assistance for aftermarket parts sales
  • Ability to participate in and lead department and project meetings, product reviews, and electrical design reviews
  • Willingness to participate in seminars and training sessions
  • Ability to travel periodically
  • Ability to work collaboratively with electrical engineering team members
