About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate production employees to meet scheduled requirements in the assigned department
- Train employees and enforce all policies and procedures
- Complete and verify First and Final Article Inspections as necessary
- Ensure parts are correct and identified before leaving the department
- Process process tags, rework tags, and non-conforming material documents
- Stage work for the department
- Assist Production Supervisors with job assignments as needed
- Mentor and train new employees
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors on personnel issues, reviews, promotions, transfers, discharges, and discipline
- Coordinate production with other departments
- Work with management to improve production flow
- Analyze and resolve work situations and assist production workers in solving work problems
- Assist in production as necessary
- Complete all weekly, daily, and monthly 5S tasks
Requirements
