About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Transform the manual operation of a security policy management platform into automated, integrated, and auditable processes
Develop and maintain the operation’s automations, integrations, APIs, scripts, and pipelines
Build bidirectional integrations between the policy management platform and the client’s corporate platforms
Develop and support the online operational dashboard, with near-real-time updates
Implement the automatic generation of change evidence for auditing
Reduce repetitive operational activities (Toil) and lead operational efficiency initiatives
Produce metrics on automated hours, efficiency gains, and reductions in operational effort, presented to the client quarterly
Prototype and demonstrate API-based integrations through technical proofs of concept
Prepare and keep up to date the technical documentation for the automations and integrations developed
Participate throughout the entire lifecycle, from building the initial integrations to supporting and enhancing them in production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid hands-on experience in Python development and Ansible automation
Experience building and consuming REST APIs, including payload and token handling
Experience with version control and collaboration using Git, GitLab, or GitHub
Experience integrating with ServiceNow and Jira
Proven experience automating operational processes and reducing repetitive work
Availability to work on a dedicated basis during business hours, Monday through Friday
Experience with the AlgoSec platform API, supported by demonstrable use cases
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with the AlgoSec platform
Experience developing operational dashboards with API-based data ingestion
Proven examples of automation applied to security operations
Experience with AI-assisted operations (AIOps) initiatives applied to security policy management
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices in enterprise pipelines
Experience in banking or another regulated industry
