About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement designed integration solutions, including system configuration, interface development, and integration testing
Troubleshoot integration and communication issues, debug software problems, and liaise with support teams
Monitor integration solutions in production and identify issues before they affect end users
Ensure solutions comply with security and privacy policies and assess potential integration risks
Maintain documentation for integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and interface descriptions
Provide training and technical support to end users
Monitor environments and continuous integration, ensuring the availability of critical environments
Fix or modify existing services and applications
Teach systems development using software vendor tools to train new consultants
Monitor production systems and implement solutions to resolve issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (preferred)
Experience with integration protocols and technologies such as SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP, JDBC, and JMS (preferred)
Experience in API development (preferred)
Experience with programming languages and development technologies such as Java, Python, C#, and Ruby (preferred)
Experience with integration tools such as IBM ACE, IBM APIC, Apigee, MuleSoft, and Digibee (preferred)
Experience in integration security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption (preferred)
Experience with databases (a plus)
Knowledge of DevOps culture (a plus)
Knowledge of database development, including queries and stored procedures (a plus)
Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration (a plus)
