About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute manual functional, exploratory, and regression tests
- Record test cases, executions, and evidence in Zephyr (Jira)
- Support the creation and maintenance of test automation scripts for REST APIs and web interfaces under the guidance of the Senior QA Analyst
- Use Generative AI tools (Gemini, Claude) to support scenario writing and test data generation
- Support the engineering team in validating product configurations and Fixed Income integrations with Core Banking systems (Matera, Autbank, or similar)
- Identify and report defects with clear documentation, logs, and reproduction steps
- Follow up on retesting through resolution
- Validate story acceptance criteria before delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Familiarity with Zephyr for Jira or a similar tool for recording and executing test cases
- Knowledge of testing types and techniques (functional, exploratory, and regression testing), as well as writing test scenarios and cases
- Basic automation knowledge using a framework such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- Active interest in using AI tools (Gemini, Claude, etc.) to support testing and test data generation
- Basic knowledge of RESTful API and JSON testing using Postman or similar
- Basic SQL skills for querying and verifying data
- Interest in financial markets and Fixed Income products (CDB, RDB, LCI/LCA, LF, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with Core Banking platforms such as Matera, Autbank, or equivalent systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of performance/load testing (JMeter, K6) and security testing is a plus
