About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and enhance white-label applications
- Gain a technical understanding of existing systems and propose improvements
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Node.js
- Support technical analysis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to the gradual evolution of the architecture and system stability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with REST APIs and service-to-service integration
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Basic to intermediate cloud knowledge, preferably GCP
- Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience maintaining and enhancing existing systems, including legacy and third-party systems
- Experience with React (preferred)
- Knowledge of GCP, including GKE and Pub/Sub (preferred)
- Experience with observability tools and practices, including logs, metrics, and APM (preferred)
- Experience with security practices, such as OWASP and Snyk (preferred)
- Experience working in multi-stack environments (preferred)
- Proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to deadlines and delivery quality
- Analytical mindset and a problem-solving focus
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions
