About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a functional specialist in the SAP FI module, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, treasury, and integrations with other modules
- Map, analyze, and optimize accounting, tax, and financial processes, aligning them with SAP best practices
- Support the business team in defining requirements and propose technical and functional solutions
- Support the configuration and customization of the SAP FI module, including custom developments, testing, and user acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with BR GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and Brazilian tax legislation
- Work on integration projects involving external systems
- Review functional documentation, including BBPs, functional specifications, and user manuals
- Support audit and controllership teams in addressing compliance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an SAP FI Consultant on implementation, rollout, or support projects
- Knowledge of financial, accounting, and tax processes, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, bank integrations, tax calculation, SPED, ECD, and ECF
- Experience with FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-CO integrations
- Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions
- Strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to interact with business and IT teams
- SAP FI certification is desirable
- Previous experience with tax projects, such as GRC and TDF, is desirable
- Knowledge of SAP CO is desirable
- Intermediate or advanced English is desirable
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven profile
- Ability to work in dynamic and multicultural environments
- Proactive in identifying improvements and innovations
