About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, configure, and enhance automations using Blue Prism
Analyze processes and identify automation opportunities
Develop RPA workflows following best practices for architecture, reusability, and maintainability
Create and maintain Business Objects, Processes, Work Queues, and reusable components in Blue Prism
Integrate automations with web systems, desktop applications, APIs, databases, and files
Implement exception handling, logging, retries, and recovery mechanisms
Perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing
Analyze and resolve incidents related to robots in production
Monitor executions and support root-cause analysis of failures
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Work with business, architecture, infrastructure, security, and technology teams
Participate in backlog refinement and technical estimates
Propose robust, scalable, and easy-to-maintain solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience developing automations using Blue Prism
Knowledge of the main components and concepts of the Blue Prism platform
Experience developing and maintaining RPA processes in a corporate environment
Knowledge of exception handling and process recovery strategies
Experience with Work Queues and transactional processing
Knowledge of integrations with web and/or desktop applications
Knowledge of consuming and integrating with REST APIs
Knowledge of databases
Experience with version control, documentation, and development best practices
Strong analytical and automation troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
Nice to have: experience with large-scale and/or high-volume RPA environments, Blue Prism Control Room, reusable components, SAP, legacy applications, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle or similar databases, Git, CI/CD, Scrum/Kanban, observability, monitoring, production robot support, retail, and Blue Prism certifications
