About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create, review, and update governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
Monitor the organization’s adherence to internal policies and external regulations by conducting periodic audits
Identify and assess potential risks, developing mitigation strategies
Prepare detailed reports on the organization’s governance and compliance status and present them to senior management
Develop and deliver training programs for employees on governance and compliance policies
Provide analytical support for strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with governance policies
Engage with various stakeholders, including external auditors and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance and transparency
Support due diligence processes for tangible and intangible assets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Graduate degree or certifications in corporate governance are a plus
Previous experience in corporate governance, compliance, or audit-related roles
Familiarity with local and international standards and regulations
Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presentations
Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing documents and identifying potential irregularities
Commitment to ethical practices and professional integrity
Fluency in English
