Work as a senior Oracle PL/SQL professional
Focus heavily on supporting legacy systems and production environments

Receive issues and investigate their root causes
Navigate complex PL/SQL code

Build knowledge of the environment and business rules with initial support from more senior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience with Oracle/PL/SQL
Solid experience with Packages
Solid experience with Procedures and Functions
Solid experience with Triggers
Experience with complex SQL
Experience with debugging and issue investigation
Experience with performance analysis and execution plans
Proven experience supporting systems in production
Experience investigating incidents, processing errors, performance issues, data inconsistencies, batch processing, integrations, and issues involving procedures/packages
Ability to understand and maintain large, complex packages
Experience with testing, user acceptance testing, and impact analysis before deploying changes
Desirable, non-mandatory knowledge: Java, Angular, IBM IWS, DataStage, legacy systems, the insurance industry, and insurance accounting
Proactive, analytical, and investigative mindset; dynamism; sense of urgency; attention to detail in execution and testing; collaboration; and teamwork
