About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and professional support in asset management and issue required opinions and recommendations
- Develop and update intervention plans for sewer, water, and road infrastructure, including PIIRL plans, ensuring their technical quality, consistency, and compliance
- Develop asset management plans for water infrastructure and participate in initiatives related to SQEEP
- Develop asset management plans for buildings
- Coordinate and carry out activities related to database updates and ensure data quality
- Prepare capital planning and programming for municipal infrastructure
- Plan and manage calls for tenders related to asset management
- Plan, organize, and oversee various activities related to municipal asset management for road, sewer, drinking water, and building infrastructure
- Develop, structure, and produce intervention plans and strategic planning tools to prioritize and optimize municipal investments
- Work closely with the asset management team under the responsibility of the Division Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, water engineering, construction engineering, or building engineering; other relevant education or experience may be considered equivalent
- Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (an asset)
- At least three (3) years of practical experience in asset management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Results-oriented, with a focus on customer service and maintaining service quality
- Team player
- Any combination of education and professional experience, as well as other relevant experience, will be considered
