About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform operational evaluation site visits to established STARBASE sites, as determined by the ODASW (RI) Director Civil Military Programs, no less than once every 3 years
- Review site operations and curriculum delivery for compliance with DoW instructions and key program factors
- Complete a minimum of 10 site visits per year
- Develop and update a national program evaluation checklist
- Review and adjust the site assessment tool for statistical documentation and evaluation of program performance
- Prepare site visit reports with recommended action plans and timelines for correcting deficiencies
- Participate in Program Director and Instructor training workshops
- Provide technical assistance and support to programs offering STARBASE Advanced
- Lead preparation of the STARBASE Annual Report
- Serve as a key point of contact between the organization and government stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Willingness to travel to STARBASE sites nationwide
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with government contracting preferred
- Experience with curriculum development preferred
- Attention to detail required
