About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a team of six employees providing Language Access Services to HHS OMH
  • Manage social media, web content, email campaign, online video, and other multimedia projects
  • Manage data collection and analysis projects
  • Schedule and run meetings with the federal client and the FWI team
  • Monitor team progress toward completing deliverables and provide guidance and support
  • Submit deliverables by contract performance work statement deadlines
  • Ensure requested revisions are completed and revised deliverables are submitted on time
  • Ensure deliverables comply with PWS requirements, federal plain language guidelines, Section 508 accessibility, and specified reading levels
  • Oversee efforts to promote awareness of and access to HHS programs and health priorities among limited English proficiency communities
  • Oversee communications tailored to LEP audiences through plain language and culturally accessible framing in English across digital, television, and radio advertising channels
  • Oversee revision of HHS materials into plain-language English and Section 508-compliant formats
  • Communicate with HHS OMH to identify expectations and respond to requests, inquiries, directions, and instructions
  • Ensure audience data is gathered and analyzed for annual and final reports
  • Collect and analyze performance metrics, technical information, and project data and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study
  • At least four years of experience managing projects or programs of a similar size and scope, preferably as a federal employee or government contractor
  • Ability to manage team members remotely
  • Must be eligible for an HHS Public Trust security clearance
  • Master’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study (desired)
  • At least four years of experience managing social media, web content, email campaign, online video, and other multimedia projects (desired)
  • At least four years of experience managing data collection and analysis projects (desired)
  • Program Management Professional certification (desired)
  • Federal government, government contracting, or public health experience preferred but not required
