About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Consult with clients to define technical requirements and architectural approaches for custom integrations
Develop high-quality, testable Java code for custom extensions and complex integrations
Diagnose complex performance and integration challenges and provide code-level solutions
Translate client business goals into efficient, scalable software solutions
Advocate for engineering best practices and maintainability
Mentor, coach, and inspire team members
Work according to Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products
Provide second-tier support for live clients
Advise clients on platform installation and configuration
Design and implement custom Java interfaces, web service integrations, and extensions for the Fraud Analysis platform
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Project Managers, and Fraud Analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor of Science and/or a Master of Science in Computer Science, a degree in a comparable field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of work experience in Java software development
Knowledge of thread and JVM memory management in high-performance systems
Client engagement experience and ability to act as a consultant to clients
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
Experience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, Docker, and databases (nice to have)
