About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own month-end close with management assistance, reconciling material balances, investigating variances and delivering timely reporting
Maintain an accurate, supported and audit-ready general ledger and balance sheet across Feeld’s UK and US entities
Coordinate statutory accounts, audit, tax and regulatory activities with internal stakeholders and external advisers
Review and process UK payroll through an HRIS-integrated system
Produce management cost reporting and analysis covering performance, trends, risks and opportunities
Reconcile and interrogate large data volumes from multiple systems, investigating anomalies through resolution
Maintain structured Google Sheets workbooks supporting the overall financial model
Oversee financial controls and processes and identify improvement gaps
Partner with teams across Feeld to provide financial guidance on business decisions
Document key processes and maintain a handover trail for maternity-cover continuity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Complex month-end close, balance-sheet reconciliation and management-reporting experience with a high degree of independence
Highly proficient in Google Sheets
Experience building, reviewing and improving models using complex formulas and large datasets
Sound accounting judgement in a changing environment
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret wider business implications
Clear and thoughtful communication with finance and non-finance colleagues in a remote working environment
Experience in an international, multi-entity, subscription, marketplace or technology business is a bonus
Qualified accountant or equivalent experience gained through technically complex financial work is a bonus
Experience supporting statutory audits, tax compliance or regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions is a bonus
Experience improving finance systems, automating reporting or reducing manual data processing is a bonus
