About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform independent research to discover and propose new initiatives
Design mockups and functioning prototypes with world-class visual polish
Adapt experiences across web, desktop, mobile, and the Chrome Extension
Contribute regularly to the design library of tokens, components, and patterns
Leverage coding tools to ship front-end improvements to production
Own the roadmap, milestones, timelines, and issues for the team's work
Identify problems, propose solutions, guide implementation, and work closely with others to bring ideas to market

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years experience designing software that spans many surfaces
Comfortable leading without authority and owning your team's success
Ability to identify problems, distill feedback, and advocate for changes
Mastery of visual design, layout composition, and information hierarchy
Familiarity with code and experience creating production prototypes
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Remote-first within Canada on Eastern time
