About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the development and enforcement of Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies, guidelines, and protocols
- Lead development and implementation of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy
- Develop tactical plans to optimize managed resources and assets
- Participate in Group strategy development and assess strategy viability using HSW expertise
- Deliver expert HSW advice to project teams and business leaders
- Develop and oversee the annual HSW plan and coordinate initiatives across departments
- Develop and implement HSW audit compliance programs and policies
- Oversee risk assessments and facility inspections
- Manage the HSW department budgeting process and recommend resource allocations
- Supervise HSW insights and reporting, ensuring accurate data informs decisions
- Represent Ferrovial in industry, institutional, and professional forums, boards, and committees
- Lead stakeholder engagement planning and coordination
- Develop internal HSW plans and improve compliance with regulations and registration requirements
- Lead implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management Systems
- Identify team development needs and provide professional development, training, and coaching
- Manage strategic internal client relationships and mobilize internal and external resources
- Communicate and implement strategy and business-plan actions while motivating teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Experience developing and enforcing policies, guidelines, and protocols
- Experience forming and implementing Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategies
- Experience developing tactical plans and optimizing resources and assets
- Experience advising project teams and business leaders on health, safety, and wellbeing
- Experience developing annual plans and audit compliance programs
- Experience overseeing risk assessments and facility inspections
- Experience managing departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting Health, Safety & Wellbeing data
- Experience managing managerial-level stakeholders and stakeholder engagement plans
- Knowledge of regulation and registration requirements
- Experience implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems
- Ability to identify team development needs and provide training or coaching
- Ability to manage strategic internal client relationships
