About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build major parts of Fetch’s consumer app and partner platforms
- Own key experiences from early ideas through shipped product
- Create UX designs, visual designs, prototypes and frontend code
- Build responsive, accessible and reliable React and TypeScript interfaces
- Refine typography, layout, motion, interactions and user feedback
- Improve the design system and create reusable components and patterns
- Use AI to explore approaches, prototype quickly and build faster
- Learn from users and improve shipped experiences
- Collaborate with design, brand, product and engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience designing and building digital products, with work to show
- Strong UI and UX instincts and ability to explain design decisions
- Frontend coding skills and ability to take interfaces through to release
- Ability to think through complete user journeys, including empty states and failure cases
- Ability to collaborate with designers, product people and engineers
- Comfort exploring problems before there is a perfect brief
- Experience designing and shipping interfaces
- Strong attention to detail
- TypeScript and React experience
- Familiarity with React Native, Next.js and Tailwind
- Familiarity with Cursor, Claude and other AI design and development tools
