Electrical Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with internal departments to develop electrical engineering projects according to project timelines and requirements
- Track project progress using the PME (Project Management Environment) indicator and quality gates
- Maintain project forms and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 internal processes
- Develop and update personnel and resource plans and maintain documentation on the designated server
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues and support timely resolutions
- Assist with purchasing materials required for electrical projects
- Review and approve material and service requests within the electrical engineering area
- Use the PM TOOL (FIVE) portal for project status reports and SAP for project control
- Create and issue RFQs and manage supplier contracting processes using FFT ASTRAS
- Manage suppliers and ensure technical, personnel, and material requirements are met
- Pre-authorize invoices for progress payments and material deliveries
- Visit clients regularly to support project activities, resolve issues, and support sales efforts
- Provide technical expertise during client meetings to secure new projects and strengthen client relationships
- Ensure electrical engineering projects meet client specifications, project goals, quality standards, and deadlines
- Secure final project acceptance after deliverables meet agreed specifications
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AS 9100 certifications and FFT quality management practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics
- Advanced degree (Master's or higher) preferred but not required
- 5 years' experience required in Electrical Engineering areas, including Controls, HW/SW Design, Pneumatic Design, and Electrical Installation
- Knowledge of Hardware/Software Design
- Knowledge of Virtual Commissioning technology, including PLC and Robot Programming (spot, adhesive, MIG/MAG, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of Project Management
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and management tools
- Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
