About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate and resolve financial and non-financial corrections resulting from internal or external errors
- Resolve client account issues accurately and promptly
- Research, analyze, and adjust account issues and errors
- Resolve issues in accordance with industry, provincial, and federal regulations and corporate policies
- Provide professional customer service to clients
- Apply knowledge of Fidelity products, policies, procedures, and risk mitigation practices
- Communicate with clients, advisors, and other Fidelity partners during error recovery
- Contribute to continuous improvement at the departmental and divisional levels
- Help build a strong, effective team
- Create positive client experiences by taking personal accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current authorization to work in Canada is required
- Postsecondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in the mutual fund or financial services industry
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both verbal and written, is required
- At least 1 year of processing experience is an asset
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) designation is an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, the internet, and relevant internal applications, including AXIS, XTRAC, ConX, ACE, and TD Business Windows
- Excellent knowledge of policies, procedures, and transaction types related to Transfer Agent Operations
- Broad knowledge of Fidelity’s product offerings
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound, prudent judgment when resolving client issues
